                              I do lots of      AUTHOR VISITS I give talks and run workshops:- for children,                                                    teachers, parents, librarians, and would-be writers; at festivals                                                    and conferences; in schools, colleges, libraries, and book shops.                                                    I made my first school visit in 1981.
